Ozarks Wellness was founded with the aim of helping people achieve wellness and enjoy life to the fullest. The idea of providing IV infusions to people was born when Laura met Ashley and they decided to go into business together. Laura's husband, John, a disabled veteran, also joined in to promote health modalities to others in the community. Ozarks Wellness is now a non-profit organization that aims to provide wellness treatments that help people feel their best again.

Laura has five years of experience as a registered nurse. Laura made the decision to enroll in nursing school in order to improve people's lives after witnessing her father suffer while dying. Working as a medical/surgical nurse for four years, Laura knew that the hospital's treatment program was not proactive and that in order to truly impact people, she needed to connect with them before they were forced into the hospital.​​

 

Ashley has been a registered nurse for more than 20 years, with experience working in oncology and NICU in the hospital setting, as well as in working in a functional medicine clinic. Ashley realized that despite wellness treatments' demonstrated benefits, the cost limited who could receive therapies. Ashley wanted to provide these treatments to others who couldn't afford them because she saw the positive effects they had on her clients' lives.

After being injured as an Army Ranger and again as a law enforcement officer, John experiences daily pain and has days that are debilitating. Living with chronic pain, John has sought natural treatments to manage pain without being dependent on narcotics. When Laura and Ashley decided to start their clinic, John was fully on board. The clinic is starting with IV infusions, but has plans for growth into areas such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, PEMF therapy, and salt deprivation tanks.
